About the Position

Under the guidance of the VP of Warehouse Operations, the Facilities Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and optimizing all physical aspects of our facilities to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operations. This role involves facility infrastructure, equipment maintenance, safety compliance, vendor coordination, and supports warehouse layout improvements to meet operational needs. This individual embraces and supports our in-person/on-site work culture and embodies our company values of Ownership, Collaboration and Respect.

What you can do for us…

· Coordinate the day-to-day operations and maintenance of all company operated facilities, including buildings, grounds, HVAC, electrical systems, dock equipment, and racking systems.

· Implement preventative maintenance programs for critical warehouse infrastructure (e.g., vehicles, forklifts, material handling systems).

· Coordinate repairs, renovations, and capital improvement projects to minimize downtime and support operational growth.

· Ensure compliance with OSHA, fire codes, and other regulatory standards, ensuring a safe working environment.

· Work closely with warehouse operations leadership to align facility improvements with business needs and workflow efficiency.

· Help manage vendor relationships and contracts for facility services, including cleaning, security, landscaping, and waste management.

· Maintain facility documentation, inspection records, safety audits, and emergency preparedness plans.

· Support Safety team initiatives and be the safety champion for the facility

· Perform as-needed preventive maintenance and as-needed repairs on a variety of building systems and equipment as assigned at all company operated properties.

· Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

· Experience level: 5+ years in Facilities, preferably in Warehouse/Distribution environment

· Strong organizational and multitasking skills

· Safety or OSHA certification a plus

· Handyman skills a must

· Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Physical Requirements:

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; as well as reach with hands and arms.

· The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

· Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.

· Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions.

· Required to use stairwells to attend meetings and engage with employees on multiple floors throughout building.

Compensation

Starting base pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
