Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks an experienced Facilities Controls Engineer to design, maintain and improve facility control systems supporting wafer production. The role requires hands-on automation experience and leadership across cross-functional teams.

You will work on HVAC, exhaust abatement, PLCs, SCADA and related automation, ensuring reliable operation and continuous improvement in a 24/7 fab environment.

Competenze

• BS in Electrical/Controls Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of controls engineering experience in industrial facilities.
• Experience with SCADA and PLC ladder logic; familiarity with RSLogix/Studio and Siemens tools.
• Familiarity with ISA 18.2 standards and P&ID/PFD drawing.
• Ability to design, maintain and improve facility control systems.

Mansioni

• Lead engineers and project managers; mentor team.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance across site.
• Provide day-to-day support for Facilities Operations Maintenance (FOM).
• Manage projects for facilities operations; lead start-up of new equipment.
• Maintain 100% uptime of control equipment, servers and workstations.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for new systems.
