Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks an experienced Facilities HVAC Engineer to join the HVAC Engineering Team, supporting central utilities for our wafer FABs. You will help oversee chilled water systems, cooling towers, steam and process vacuum, ensuring uninterrupted 24/7 operations.

Leading technical decisions on CDA and process exhaust, you will collaborate with EH&S and facilities service teams to maintain compliance, reliability, and optimal performance across the site.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in facilities, mechanical systems, or HVAC & MEP design.
• PE license, EIT or PMP certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with ASHRAE Standards and data analysis aptitude.
• Knowledge of pumps, fans, piping, and heat transfer.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations support for facilities and equipment.
• Review process data to ensure operation within specs.
• Understand water treatment and chemical interactions with piping.
