Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with seven years of construction experience.
• A four-year degree in construction management and five years of construction experience is preferred.
• NC Locksmith license is preferred.
• NC State General Contractor’s license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise field staff (carpentry, locksmithing, etc.) in the maintenance of City facilities.
• Provide project management for building improvement projects.
• Plan, evaluate, and manage renovations and repairs to City properties.
• Coordinate with designers, contractors, and field staff on repair and improvement projects.
• Develop and maintain mechanical key systems and electronic access control.
• Attend Owner-Architect-Contractor meetings to provide feedback during new construction projects.
• Perform on-site inspections of various existing facilities and facilities under construction.
• Manage service requests, assign work orders, and ensure that PMs are completed.
• Hire, train, manage, and complete performance reviews for all direct reports.
• All other duties as assigned.
