Job summary

HEPCO Inc. in York, PA seeks a Facilities Compliance Specialist to advise leadership on regulatory compliance and safety across office, manufacturing, and warehouse environments.

You will review projects, inspect facilities, coordinate corrective actions, develop hazard analyses, and train teams on Safe Work Permits to maintain a strong safety culture. Strong communication with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Typically four years of experience in a full-service facilities management environment.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, EPA, FCC, and local building and safety codes.
• Experience in office, manufacturing, and warehouse environments.
• Advanced Excel for data tracking and analysis.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review upcoming facilities projects, assess risks, and recommend measures to control potential hazards.
• Conduct inspections and audits, coordinate corrective actions, and track follow-up activities.
• Collaborate with Safety, Health, and Environmental teams to monitor operations and reduce employee risk.
• Coordinate Regulatory Inspection, Permits, and Testing (RIPT) activities, including scheduling, planning, and securing resources for work orders and preventive maintenance.
• Develop and maintain risk assessment and hazard analysis processes and train employees on their use.
• Administer Safe Work Permits and maintain safety documentation and regulatory assessments.
• Track safety data and performance metrics using online management systems.
• Prepare reports and presentations for leadership.
• Coach employees and contractors on safety standards and compliance requirements.
• Support a collaborative culture of safety and accountability.

• Working knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, EPA, FCC, and local building and safety codes.
• Experience in office, manufacturing, and warehouse environments.
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Excel for data tracking and analysis.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical experts, internal stakeholders, and external vendors.

Pay Range: $35.00- $40.00per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
