Job summary

Epic is seeking an Operations Center Technician to maintain business continuity across our global campuses. You will monitor real-time alerts and manage security systems from our Facilities Command Center, coordinating emergency responses to ensure safety and restore normal operations.

The ideal candidate has experience in security operations and decision-making skills, with a strong ability to work under pressure. This position is based in Madison, WI and offers relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Experience in security operations, emergency response, or a related high-volume field preferred.
• Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, real-time environment.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Openness to 2nd and 3rd shift, as well as weekend days.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.

Position based on our campus in Madison, WI. Relocation to area required. Recruitment is national and financial relocation assistance is provided.

Responsibilities

As an Operations Center Technician, you will maintain business continuity across Epic's global campuses by monitoring real-time alerts, managing access and security systems, and overseeing building operations from our Facilities Command Center. You will identify and respond to issues using video feeds and system data, coordinate emergency responses to disruptions such as natural disasters or power outages, and work closely with internal teams and emergency services to ensure a safe environment and restore normal operations quickly and effectively.
