Qualifications

• Basic operations of janitorial work.
• Basic methods, materials and equipment used in janitorial work.
• Basic safe work practices.
• The use of toxic and non-toxic chemicals (per MSDS sheets).

Responsibilities

• High dusting of surfaces above shoulder height using proper tools.
• Sanitizing and spot cleaning surfaces below shoulder height.
• Bathroom cleaning with germicidal solution including sinks and toilets.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners as needed.
• Floor dusting or vacuuming and proper mop handling.
• Grounds care including outdoor areas and curb lines cleanup.
• Public common area cleaning and window/wall checking.
• Food court area cleaning and trash removal.
• Floor sanitizing using germicidal solution across room.
