Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic operations of janitorial work.
• Basic methods, materials and equipment used in janitorial work.
• Basic safe work practices.
• The use of toxic and non-toxic chemicals (per MSDS sheets).

Responsibilities

• Dust surfaces and high areas, sanitize and spot clean rooms.
• Clean bathrooms using germicidal solutions and replenish supplies.
• Empty trash cans and manage waste linings.
• Sweep, mop and vacuum floors; check under furniture.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas, floors and windows.
• Assist with grounds care and outdoor cleaning as needed.
