Role requires reliable, detail-oriented individuals with the ability to follow oral and written instructions and work independently while maintaining safety standards and courteous customer relations.

Qualifications

• Basic operations of janitorial work.
• Basic methods, materials and equipment used in janitorial work.
• Basic safe work practices.
• The use of toxic and non-toxic chemicals (per MSDS sheets).
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Sufficiently communicate with co-workers and supervisors.
• Operate powered and non-powered janitorial equipment.
• Interpret written instructions and warning labels on cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-dusting following a counter clockwise pattern.
• Sanitize surfaces and spot-clean as needed.
• Clean bathrooms with germicidal solution in specified order.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners.
• Vacuum and dust under furniture and in restrooms.
• Maintain grounds by cleaning ash urns, sidewalks and planters.
• Attend to public common areas and food court cleanliness.
• Perform floor sanitizing and general room inspection.
