Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Lead to supervise facility operations at an assigned site. You will delegate daily tasks, guide staff, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures, keeping buildings clean and safe for workers and customers.

This role involves operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and performing standard janitorial duties as needed. Strong leadership, communication, and prior supervisory experience are preferred; a valid driver’s license is helpful

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned work schedules and route cards as directed.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Maintain open communication between field employees and management; monitor and document client communications.
• Assist with daily and weekly work scheduling.
• Oversee cleaning operations in assigned building.
• Manage access keys and cards for the property.
• Report damaged, broken, or non-working items.
• Oversee additional service requests in the building.
• Ensure quality and confirm completion with Area Manager.
• Provide training for new hires according to onboarding procedures.
• Complete and validate time records for regular or subcontractor employees.
• Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
