Job summary

ABM Industries seeks a Lead to supervise facility operations, delegating tasks, guiding staff, and ensuring safety and cleanliness at a designated site. This role supports the Manager in daily operations and maintains clear communication with clients and management.

The Lead will operate specialized equipment, handle cleaning chemicals, oversee scheduling, and train new hires. A strong emphasis on safety, reliability, and teamwork is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.

Responsibilities

• Delegate daily tasks and provide guidance to team.
• Supervise at assigned location when Manager is absent.
• Ensure facilities are clean and safe, operate specialized equipment as needed.
• Maintain open communication between field staff and management.
• Assist with scheduling and oversee cleaning operations.
• Manage access keys and report any equipment or facility issues.
• Train new hires per onboarding procedures.
• Validate time records for employees and subcontractors.
