Qualifications

• Basic operations of janitorial work.
• Basic methods, materials and equipment used in janitorial work.
• Basic safe work practices.
• The use of toxic and non-toxic chemicals (per MSDS sheets).
• Understand and follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• High Dusting: clean surfaces above shoulder height around rooms.
• Sanitizing/Spot Cleaning: sanitize surfaces below shoulder height and remove fingerprints.
• Bathroom Cleaning: clean toilet areas and dispensers daily.
• Empty Trash Cans: replace liners and wipe cans as needed.
• Floor Dusting or Vacuuming: clean dust and debris from floors and under furniture.
• Grounds care: outdoor areas cleaned and trashpoliced several times daily.
• Public Common Areas: dust mop and spot mop main hallways, check glass and planters.
• Food Court: clean tables, remove trash, sanitize areas and empty cans.
