Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring for a maintenance/janitorial role focused on keeping club facilities clean, safe, and well-maintained for members and team members. The position involves unloading and returning carts, cleaning duties, and supporting daily operations across indoor and outdoor areas.

Qualifications include completion of required training and certification; prior maintenance or retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must complete required training and certification processes.
• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
• Prior retail/wholesale experience preferred.
• May be under 18 for parking lot cart functions; 18+ to operate equipment and access restricted areas.

Responsibilities

• Provides members with prompt and courteous service and maintains safety and sanitation standards.
• Keeps club clean: floors, restrooms, offices, and outdoor areas.
• Gathers and returns carts/flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance.
• Ensures carts are stocked at the club entrance and are in good working order.
• Performs routine maintenance and cleaning, including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and trash removal.
• Maintains outdoor grounds and supports safe and efficient operations.
• Supports other departments as needed and maintains attendance.
