Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a maintenance/janitorial team member to uphold safety and sanitation standards across the club. You will gather and return shopping carts, keep the facility clean, and assist with routine repairs as needed.

Responsibilities include operating cleaning equipment and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for members and team members alike, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits highlighted in the posting.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred.
• Must be able to operate cleaning equipment safely.
• Strong team collaboration and customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness of all club areas including sales floor, offices, restrooms and outdoor grounds.
• Gathers and returns carts and flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance.
• Operates floor scrubber, trash compactor and cardboard baler in safe, efficient manner.
• Performs minor and routine building repairs and notifies management when major repairs are required.
