Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is hiring for a Maintenance/Janitorial position. You will maintain cleanliness of the club, assist with cart retrieval, and support safety standards to ensure a positive member experience.

Prior maintenance or janitorial experience is preferred. This role requires physical activity, occasional use of a pallet jack and floor equipment, and the ability to work in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
• Prior retail/wholesale experience preferred.
• May be less than 18 years of age to perform parking lot cart functions. Must be over 18 to operate equipment and enter age restricted areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous service and assistance to members.
• Maintain cleanliness of the club areas including sales floor, offices, restrooms, and outdoor grounds.
• Gather and return carts and flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance.
• Operate floor scrubber, trash compactor, and cardboard baler safely.
• Restock maintenance and cleaning supplies and notify management for major repairs.
