Job summary

Rochester Regional Health in Newark, NY is seeking a carpenter to provide interior and exterior carpentry and minor renovation work across the facility, including wall, ceiling and flooring preparation and restoration using a variety of techniques and tools to apply paints and other surface materials as needed to complete tasks.

This full-time role requires physical stamina for medium work and the ability to move between departments, ensuring tasks are completed with safety and quality in mind.

Job description

Provide carpentry and minor construction services to interior and exterior areas throughout the facility. Work involves performing carpentry and minor renovation work wall ceiling and flooring preparation/restoration utilizing a variety of techniques and tools to apply paints and other surface materials/products as necessary to complete assigned task.

EDUCATION: LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant.
