Avenues Recovery Center at Prince Frederick is seeking a maintenance associate to keep our 93-bed residential facility clean and well-maintained. You will perform custodial duties, restock supplies, and support operations as needed by the Executive Director.

We value reliability, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with care. Experience preferred; formal education not required. Join our team and help sustain a safe, welcoming environment for clients.

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• Minimum of two years' related experience preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Strong responsibility and attention to detail.
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and smooth function of property and plant
• Perform routine custodial duties such as cleaning, restocking, removing garbage etc.
• Provide consistent operational support as required by the Executive Director
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists to ensure cleanliness and upkeep of facility
• Report on all activities completed, escalating any concerns to the Executive Director
