Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Building Engineer to monitor, maintain, and repair building systems including mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and control systems at a PA site.

You will support preventive maintenance programs, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and contribute to energy efficiency initiatives. The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, adherence to codes, and collaboration with a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• High school or trade school diploma with related experience.
• Universal CFC certification preferred; other licenses as required locally.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, electrical and control systems.
• Ensure building systems meet applicable codes and safety standards.
• Maintain energy management practices for efficient operation.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs and emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow policies for storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials; keep a clean, safe workplace.
• Review building systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) for design compliance and environment requirements.
• Apply standard techniques to complex tasks and provide solutions; mentor others as needed.
• Lead by example in CBRE RISE values and help build consensus across teams.
• Support various customer, operations, and service activities within the team.
