Job summary

JLL in New Albany, OH is seeking a Facilities Automation Technician to monitor and operate Building Automation Systems (BAS) that control utilities, HVAC, and cleanroom environments. You will work with maintenance, engineering, quality and operations to ensure reliable performance and accurate documentation in a compliant, audit-ready environment.

The role requires hands-on BAS troubleshooting, alarm response, sequence updates, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience operating BAS/HVAC control systems in regulated environments.
• Familiar with ALCOA+ data integrity and audit trails.
• CMMS experience, preferably Maximo.
• Knowledge of BACnet/Modbus and common BAS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Monitor BAS performance, alarms, trends, and environmental conditions.
• Respond to alarms, document events, and escalate per procedures.
• Maintain stable environmental conditions for controlled spaces.
• Troubleshoot BAS devices such as sensors, actuators, valves, and controllers.
• Update graphics, sequences, and configurations; assist with maintenance.
• Document work orders and BAS activities in CMMS.
• Support GMP/GxP compliance and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations on issues.
