BrightBee LLC is seeking facilities associates to support local schools in East Cleveland and surrounding areas. You will claim assignments via the BrightBee app, moving between schools and shifts to keep spaces clean and safe for students.

This independent contractor role offers flexible, app-based scheduling with 2–5 days per week, including second shift options, and potential for growth as assignments convert to longer-term opportunities.

What You’ll Do

As a BrightBee facilities associate, you’ll support students in local schools—helping keep their environments clean and safe or working to support their nutrition in the cafeteria. The more sites and assignment types you are open to working, the more your earning potential is. BrightBee recruits candidates (that's you!) to support local schools and nonprofits. You will use our BrightBee app to claim assignments at schools/non‑profits in your area and get paid a week later. Our goal is simple: help schools succeed and give workers the tools they need to grow in their careers.

What You’ll Be Doing in East Cleveland Hive

A hive is a geographical region of multiple school districts and sites that you (as a Bee) will be able to claim assignments at. These assignments could be as short as a single day or as long as multiple week/months. You should be willing/able to commute to various school sites in East Cleveland area to be considered.

What Type of Work is Available?

We’re recruiting facilities candidates for East Cleveland Community and Orange City Schools to support operations. Please note that these roles are structured as 1099 independent contractor positions.

• You have reliable transportation to get to schools in your area
• You’re dependable, consistent, and show up ready to work
• You’re comfortable with physical work and being on your feet

PLEASE NOTE: Costs associated with the clearance process are the sole responsibility of the candidate, as this engagement is for an independent contractor role rather than a traditional employment position. Requirements vary by state but may include the cost of a background check, obtaining a copy of any college transcript you have, and the cost of completing Mandated Reporter training. The average cost of completing clearance in Ohio for facilities is $130
