Job summary

Bellwether Housing is seeking a Facilities Associate to join the team at The Flourish and Rose Street Apartments in Seattle. The role focuses on cleaning, groundskeeping, and basic maintenance to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for residents.

On-site, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:00 pm or 8:30 am–4:30 pm with final scheduling determined by the supervisor. Prior custodial experience preferred;Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate power tools as needed.

Qualifications

• One year of custodial experience in a residential setting or two years in a public or private facility.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and operate basic cleaning equipment.
• Willingness to learn basic cleaning and maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean building common areas and grounds.
• Clean and prepare apartment units for rental.
• Complete rounds of the property and perform cleaning tasks as needed.
• Learn to complete routine general maintenance requests in building and apartment units.
• Track inventory of supplies and report replenishment needs.
• Assist building staff with seasonal tasks to keep walkways safe.
• Attend scheduled team meetings and assist inspections as needed.
