Job summary

Aprilaire is seeking a detail-oriented Facilities Assistant for the 3rd shift in Poynette, WI. You will support day-to-day facilities operations, coordinate office services, monitor supplies and equipment, and maintain a safe, clean environment for employees and visitors.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning of common areas, kitchen/breakroom maintenance, groundskeeping, and assisting with office moves and events.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to travel between Aprilaire locations when required.
• Ability to lift up to 15–30 lbs regularly.
• Willingness to stand on a ladder and use hand tools as needed.
• Proficiency with Outlook for communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of common areas, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, interior glass cleaning, trash removal, and overall upkeep.
• Maintain kitchen and breakroom areas, including washing dishes, loading/unloading the dishwasher, cleaning sinks and faucets, and grout cleaning as needed.
• Support general groundskeeping and assist with office moves and workspace setups.
• Partner with the Administrative and Human Resources team to support meeting and event setup and breakdown (tables, food, trash, etc.).
• Follow and apply special sanitation and cleaning protocols as required.

Overview

We’re currently on the look out for a detail-oriented Facilities Assistant-3rd shift to help keep our workplace running smoothly.

In this role you’ll support the day-to-day operations of our facilities, including coordinating office services, monitoring supplies and equipment, and ensuring a safe and well maintained environment for employees and visitors.

Location: Poynette, WI (only 20 minutes from Sun Prairie)

Shift: M-F 11pm-7am (reliable and predictable shift)

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of common areas, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, interior glass cleaning, trash removal, and overall upkeep
• Maintain kitchen and breakroom areas, including washing dishes, loading/unloading the dishwasher, cleaning sinks and faucets (including deliming), and grout cleaning as needed
• Support general groundskeeping and assist with office moves and workspace setups
• Partner with the Administrative and Human Resources team to support meeting and event setup and breakdown (tables, food, trash, etc.)
• Follow and apply special sanitation and cleaning protocols as required

• Ability to periodically work flexible hours to assist with special events--advice notice is given of these events

• Willingness to stand on a 7 foot ladder
• Willingness to use hand tools (screw driver, drill)
• Ability to communicate via Outlook (such as writing an email) or use a phone to communicate between buildings
