Job Summary

The Facilities Assistant supports the Facility Management team in delivering a high-quality workplace experience within a Class A office building over 400,000 sq ft. The role requires 24-hour coverage, including day, afternoon, and overnight shifts.

What You’ll Do
  • Coordinate and support Workplace Services
  • Set up, clean, and reset office spaces, including wiping desks, emptying trash, and resetting office equipment
  • Provide janitorial, room management, meeting & event management, supply management, and furniture management services
  • Respond to customer requests and complaints promptly and accurately
  • Assist with minor repairs and adjustments, including furniture and cable management
  • Maintain databases and support digital tools related to service delivery (CMMS)
  • Ensure compliance with safety codes, regulations, and company directives
  • Perform general labor, including loading, unloading, moving materials, and supporting projects
  • Maintain lighting, grounds, and perform housekeeping tasks
  • Handle minor repairs like drywall patching and painting
  • Support office access, moves, and key inventory management
  • Respond to emergencies and prepare meeting rooms with necessary equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
What You’ll Need
  • High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of related experience
  • Customer service skills with a welcoming demeanor
  • Ability to follow routines and basic work standards
  • Effective communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills and inquisitiveness
  • Basic math skills for calculating figures
