Job summary

Strategic Alliance Business Group (SABG) seeks a Facilities Analyst (Intermediate) to support the Space Allocation Move Management team in Huntsville, AL. The role focuses on gathering, coordinating, and tracking space allocation data with ARCHIBUS CAFM in alignment with MDA requirements.

You will assist in reporting, manage moves, verify facility standards, and provide leadership with regular status updates. Strong analytical skills, communication, and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree and four years relevant experience required or AA/AS with six years relevant experience substituted for BA/BS.
  • Must possess exceptionally strong analytical skills to conduct planning and trend analysis.
  • Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, able to support multiple projects, possess excellent communication skills, work well within a team, interact with multiple levels of management, and be able to manage customer and contractor relationships.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.
  • Skills in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate space allocation move data using ARCHIBUS CAFM.
  • Update reports using ARCHIBUS CAFM and databases daily.
  • Assist with execution and management of moves for Agency requirements.
  • Walk-through facilities to verify standards and status and ensure project completion.
  • Oversee seating and utilization of MDA spaces.
  • Provide status reports to lead and Senior Leadership.
  • Utilize MS Project to track schedules and projects to completion (preferred).
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and provide comments.
  • Develop, edit and submit briefings, papers for MDA Senior Leadership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Facilities Analyst (Intermediate) will support the Space Allocation Move Management team and execute Space Allocation Move Management initiatives customer requirements and assist in the oversight and management of all aspects of facility management to meet customer established timelines and other related duties in support of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Perform as a liaison among field activity personnel, move coordinators, office space points of contact, and customers by gathering, coordinating, validating and accurately tracking space allocation move management information using ARCHIBUS Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM)
  • Assist in updating and developing reports utilizing ARCHIBUS CAFM and associated databases daily.
  • Assist with execution and management of moves in support of Agency requirements and projects
  • Track approved move and furniture request, perform walk-throughs of facilities to verify standards and check status. Ensure project completion.
  • Assist with oversight and quality control of seating and utilization of MDA controlled spaces
  • Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly and/or as needed status reports on tasks and accomplishments to direct lead and Senior Leadership.
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Project to track schedules and projects to completion is preferred
  • Possessing working knowledge of facility operations, maintenance, and sustainment, base operations, real property management, design charrettes, and general construction is preferred.
  • Able to read and interpret construction drawings. Provide comments or questions and perform back checks to verify correct drawing revisions.
  • Develop, edit and submit briefings, papers, and other documents to MDA Senior Leadership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervision

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Minimum qualifications

Capable of providing expertise to execute and report results of multiple analytical tasks related to facility operations and sustainment and development of long and short range strategies. Develop and execute project plans and related schedules/budgets. Experience working with public works organizations and procedures. Capable of providing daily supervision to support teams. Education and experience
  • BA/BS and four years relevant experience required and/or an AA/AS with six years of relevant experience maybe substituted for the BA/BS.

  • Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in MS Excel spreadsheets (e.g., macro development, manipulation, graphing and maintenance)
  • Experience with Computer Aided Drafting (AutoCAD) as well as basic knowledge of ORBIT Software is preferred
Clearance

Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
