Job summary

Purdue For Life Foundation is seeking a facilities operations leader for the Dauch Alumni Center in West Lafayette. The role oversees meeting space management, event coordination, and daily facility operations to support alumni programs and university partners.

The position requires at least two years in facilities administration, supervisory experience preferred, and familiarity with Purdue processes. A flexible schedule including some evenings/weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service orientation with good written and verbal communication.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated with sound judgment to prioritize diverse tasks and deadlines.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including some weekends and evenings.
• Basic computer skills are necessary.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, ADA compliance and office safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as building deputy for the Dauch Alumni Center (DAC).
• Manage, schedule, coordinate, and oversee all meetings/events in Dauch event space.
• Coordinate and execute Dauch staff engagement events.
• Regularly inspect the facility to maintain high standards for alumni and guests.
• Oversee space management for DAC, including office assignments and moves.
• Manage annual operating budget for the DAC and Dauch event services.
