Job summary

Access 2 Interpreters, LLC in Columbus, OH, is seeking Nepali language interpreters for face-to-face assignments with flexible hours. You’ll interpret at medical and social service appointments, earning money based on the workload you choose.

Applicants must be located in Central Ohio, have a high school diploma, be eligible to work in the U.S., pass a background check, provide proof of 40-hour interpreter training, and, if needed, Certification of Bilingual Proficiency or complete a 3rd party

What You Need To Know

• Your bilingual skills are in high demand!
• As a contractor, you decide your own schedule!
• Assignments are available 24/7/365! (Most assignments are requested during business hours.)
• Take as many or as few of our available assignments as you can!
• Higher rates may be offered to individuals with more experience.

Requirements

All applicants must:

• Be located in the Central Ohio area.
• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Be eligible to work in the United States.
• Pass a Federal Criminal Background Check based on fingerprints and a 10-panel drug screening (at no cost to you).
• Provide proof of program completion from an accredited interpreter training of at least 40 hours (e.g. Bridging the Gap, Access 2 Interpreters' "Access Academy", Court Interpretation, Certificate or Degree in interpretation from an accredited college or university).
• Provide Certification of Bilingual Proficiency or pay for and complete a 3rd Party Bilingual Fluency Evaluation through an accredited testing and evaluation organization.
