Access 2 Interpreters, LLC is seeking a Spanish Language Interpreter for face-to-face interpretation in Central Ohio. You will work on medical, social service and other appointments, choosing your own schedule and accepting assignments as available.

As a contractor, you can earn by taking on as many or as few assignments as you like. Located in Columbus, the role offers flexible hours with compelling local demand for bilingual professionals.

Qualifications

• Be located in the Central Ohio area.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Pass a Federal Criminal Background Check and a 10-panel drug screen.
• Provide proof of interpreter training of at least 40 hours.
• Provide Certification of Bilingual Proficiency or complete a 3rd party evaluation.

Requirements

All applicants must:

• Be located in the Central Ohio area.
• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Be eligible to work in the United States.
• Pass a Federal Criminal Background Check based on fingerprints and a 10-panel drug screening (at no cost to you).
• Provide proof of program completion from an accredited interpreter training of at least 40 hours (e.g. Bridging the Gap, Access 2 Interpreters' "Access Academy", Court Interpretation, Certificate or Degree in interpretation from an accredited college or university).
• Provide Certification of Bilingual Proficiency or pay for and complete a 3rd Party Bilingual Fluency Evaluation through an accredited testing and evaluation organization.
