Job summary

Paxton Countertops in Lansing, Michigan, is seeking a Fabricator/CNC Operator to join a family-owned team. Duties include hand fabrication of natural stone, engineered stone, solid surface, and laminate, plus CNC operation and maintenance with potential to advance to CNC programming and other technical roles.

The posted pay range is $31,200–$43,000 per year, with on-the-job training and benefits such as holiday pay, paid leave, a fitness program, and medical/dental/vision coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in fabricating countertops preferred.
• CNC operating/machining experience preferred.
• CAD experience preferred.
• Must be a team player with minimal supervision.
• Able to read shop drawings.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate Natural Stone, Solid surface, Quartz, Dekton and Laminate.
• Operate CNC machines.
• Read shop drawings.
• Measure and cut within 1/32 tolerance.
• Follow proper safety standards.
• Load/unload slabs of stone and finished countertops with proper safety equipment.
