Granite Works Stone Design in Cleveland is seeking a CNC Programmer and Operator to develop and implement precise CNC programs for our stone fabrication operations. You will program, operate, and optimize CNC machines, select tools, and monitor production to meet exact design specifications.

You may visit job sites to create templates and collaborate with design and production teams to ensure quality, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3‑5 years of manufacturing or fabrication experience.
• 3+ years of CNC machine experience; Brenton CNC preferred.
• CAD/CAM experience required.
• Stone/Granite/Countertop or construction background preferred.
• Ability to multi‑task and adapt in a fluid environment.
• Strong time management, organization, and independent work skills.
• Effective communication with professional etiquette; good negotiation skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; attention to detail and problem solving.
• Reliable attendance and ability to meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CNC machines to cut, shape, and fabricate stone countertops.
• Visit job sites to create precise templates for installations.
• Develop knowledge of company stone products and fabrication procedures.
• Learn and operate manufacturing, production, and scheduling systems.
• Understand production scheduling and client project needs; participate in meetings.
• Collaborate with leadership and other departments on project status.
• Develop working knowledge of continuous improvement and OSHA safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
