Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking a dependable Fabricator (Fabrication Floater) in Fairport, NY to support a structural steel shop. This hands-on role offers steady day shifts, physical work, and opportunities to learn fabrication processes, machine operation, and layout tasks.

You will move between shop areas, assist with cutting, drilling, grinding, and assembly while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Prior hands-on experience is a plus; training provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Willingness to learn and cross-train.
• Comfortable with physical work and handling steel materials.
• Dependable and able to follow instructions.
• Willingness to work at different shop locations as needed.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, CNC operation, welding, carpentry, or other hands‑on work is a plus.

Fabricator

Fairport, NY |$20-$21/hour | Monday-Friday6:00 AM-2:00 PM
Overtime: Available, not mandatory

We are seeking a dependable Fabrication Floater to support a structural steel fabrication shop. This is a hands‑on opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, learning new skills, and helping wherever production needs support.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cutting, drilling, grinding, material handling, and general shop work

• Learn fabrication processes and machine operation

• Use a tape measure accurately

• Assist with layout, assembly, and finishing as trained

• Move between shop areas and learn different tasks

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements
