MOHR Talent in Henrietta, NY is seeking an experienced Fabricator Welder for an in-person, full-time role. You will take prints from layout to finished railing with limited supervision on day shift, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with overtime available.

The job combines fabrication and welding of railings, stairs, and structural steel. You will read prints, perform fit-up, cutting, bending, torching, and inspect work for accuracy, with cross-training and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on fabrication experience with railings, stairs, and miscellaneous steel.
• Ability to read fabrication prints and drawings.
• Strong tape measure and dimensional skills.
• Experience with layout and fit-up.
• Comfortable with material handling and general shop work.
• Pipe bending, sheet-metal bending, or CNC/plasma-table a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate railings, stairs, miscellaneous metals, and structural steel components.
• Read fabrication prints and lay out material to the drawings.
• Perform fit-up, assembly, and welding of fabricated components.
• Bend pipe for railing fabrication and support sheet-bending operations.
• Cut, drill, grind, and torch steel.
• Inspect finished work for dimensional accuracy and adjust to print.
• Handle and move steel using cranes and material-handling equipment.
• Cross-train on additional equipment and assist other shop areas.

Fabricator Welder

Henrietta, NY | In-Person | $25 - $28 /hr | Full-Time

A well established and growing structural steel fabricator with a team that cares about their people is hiring an experienced Miscellaneous Metals Fabricator. This is a true fabrication role, not a welding-only job. You will take a print and carry it from layout to a finished, accurate railing with limited supervision. Day shift, approximately 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with overtime available but never mandatory.

What You'll Do:

• Fabricate railings, stairs, miscellaneous metals, and structural steel components
• Read fabrication prints and lay out material to the drawings
• Perform fit-up, assembly, and welding of fabricated components
• Bend pipe for railing fabrication and support sheet-bending operations
• Cut, drill, grind, and torch steel
• Inspect finished work for dimensional accuracy and adjust to match the print
• Handle and move steel using cranes and material-handling equipment
• Cross-train on additional equipment and help other areas of the shop as needed

What You Bring:

• Hands-on fabrication experience with railings, stairs, miscellaneous steel, or comparable products
• Ability to read fabrication prints and drawings
• Strong tape measure and dimensional skills
• Experience with layout and fit-up
• Comfortable with material handling and general shop work in addition to welding
• Pipe bending, sheet-metal bending, or CNC and plasma-table experience is a plus
• No need to know our exact equipment if your fabrication skills transfer
