Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking a dependable CNC Machine Operator to support a steel fabrication shop in Palmyra, NY. You will operate CNC and drill-line equipment and assist with fabrication, material handling, and other shop duties when machine work is unavailable.

Candidates with CNC, machine operation, or fabrication experience are encouraged to apply. Specific equipment experience with Ficep, Peddinghaus, or similar gear is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to read measurements and use a tape measure.
• Ability to perform both machine operation and hands-on shop work.
• Comfort working with structural steel and heavy materials.
• Ability to stay productive and assist wherever needed.
• CNC machine operation or drill-line equipment.
• Steel fabrication.
• Reading fabrication drawings or shop prints.
• Experience with Ficep, Peddinghaus, or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and drill-line equipment used in structural steel fabrication.
• Set up and monitor machines to meet production requirements.
• Read measurements and accurately use a tape measure.
• Assist with cutting, drilling, grinding, torching, and general fabrication.
• Assist other shop areas during machine downtime.

We are seeking a dependable CNC Machine Operator to support a steel fabrication shop. This position involves operating drill-line equipment and assisting with fabrication, material handling, and other shop duties when machine work is unavailable.
