Job summary

MOHR Talent in Greece, NY is seeking an experienced Rail Fabricator. This is a true fabrication role, not welding-only, where you take a print from layout to a finished railing with limited supervision.

Day shift 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with overtime available but never mandatory. You will read fabrication prints, layout material, perform fit-up, assembly and welding, bend pipe for railing fabrication, cut and torch steel, inspect work for accuracy, and move steel with cranes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on fabrication experience with railings, stairs, miscellaneous steel or structural components.
• Ability to read fabrication prints and drawings.
• Strong tape measure and dimensional skills.
• Experience with layout and fit-up.
• Willingness to perform general shop work and overtime as needed.

A well established and growing structural steel fabricator with a team that cares about their people is hiring an experienced Railing Fabricator. This is a true fabrication role, not a welding-only job. You will take a print and carry it from layout to a finished, accurate railing with limited supervision. Day shift, approximately 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with overtime available but never mandatory.

What You'll Do:

• Fabricate railings, stairs, miscellaneous metals, and structural steel components
• Read fabrication prints and lay out material to the drawings
• Perform fit-up, assembly, and welding of fabricated components

• Cut, drill, grind, and torch steel

What You Bring:

• Hands-on fabrication experience with railings, stairs, miscellaneous steel, or comparable products
• Ability to read fabrication prints and drawings
• Strong tape measure and dimensional skills
• Experience with layout and fit-up
• Comfortable with material handling and general shop work in addition to welding
• Pipe bending, sheet-metal bending, or CNC and plasma-table experience is a plus
• No need to know our exact equipment if your fabrication skills transfer
