nVent is seeking skilled operators to support program-controlled CNC machines. You will work with downloaded CNC programs, perform tooling changes, monitor sharpening or replacement, and maximize machine performance while maintaining quality parts.
The role also involves daily to periodic machine maintenance, setting up machines for batch runs, and troubleshooting minor issues while coordinating service to minimize downtime.

Works with computer downloads for program controlled CNC machines. Stays current on CNC operations training. Performs tooling change out monitoring usage for scheduled sharpening or tooling replacement as needed to maximize machine performance and maintaining quality parts. Performs daily, weekly, and periodic machine maintenance as directed per the preventative maintenance system. Performs machine set up for self and/or others for batch parts run. Effectively troubleshoots minor machine problems and coordinates service to minimize down time. Provides backup to Fabricating Supervisor for day to day production operations Endeavors to create a work environment that is enjoyable, engenders pride in the product and focus on the customer, and provides room for individual responsibilities and ideas.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
