Tyson Foods in Waverly, NE, seeks a Maintenance Fabricator for day shift to fabricate parts and repair systems using welding processes. The role supports maintenance across the facility to sustain peak efficiency before, during, and after production.

The candidate should have a two-year welding/fabrication background or 2 years of verifiable fabricator experience, and be able to read blueprints, operate hand tools, and work overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• Weld using GTAW, SMAW and GMAW, primarily stainless steel GTAW.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and rough drafts.
• Experience with hand tools and trade-type tools.
• Willingness to work overtime and operate in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate new parts and repair existing systems using welding processes.
• Assist maintenance on rebuilds, installs and projects to keep production running.
• Complete required paperwork and preventive maintenance checks.
• Perform welding projects, test welded structures for quality assurance.
