Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Fabricator to weld and repair parts, supporting maintenance to keep the facility running at peak efficiency. The role involves fabricating parts, repairing systems, and collaborating with the maintenance team to complete projects across the plant.

The position requires handling GTAW, SMAW and GMAW, reading blueprints, and complying with GMP/HAACP/PSM safety standards. This is a full-time role with a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Two-year program in fabrication or welding or 2+ years verifiable fabrication experience.
• Experience using GTAW with stainless steel is preferred.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Communicate equipment malfunctions and corrective actions across departments.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on assigned equipment.
• Complete welding projects using GTAW, SMAW, and GMAW on ferrous materials.
• Test welded structures for quality assurance.
• Assist maintenance on rebuilds, installs and projects.
• Maintain required paperwork and reports.
• Work both independently and with the team in a safe, efficient manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
