Qualifications

Fabrication Technician/ Warehouse Associate

Assist in various shop areas including gasket, hose, mechanical seal, cylinder repair, and conveyor belting departments. Use tools to measure, manipulate, and cut gaskets, fabricate hoses, and related products. Assist with general shop duties under close supervision.

Location: The branch is located in Imperial, PA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Participate in inventory counts, maintain stock, and organize shop areas.
• Participate in lean activities and adhere to safety regulations.
• Contribute suggestions for continuous improvement in lean, quality, and safety.
• Operate equipment such as gasket presses, circle cutters, Allpax cutters, shears, and punch press machines.
• Assist in hose area tasks like banding, crimping, rolling, cutting, and testing hoses. Support hydro or hydraulic hose activities.
• Assist in mechanical seal department with disassembly, cleaning, bead blasting, and packing/shipping components.
• Support shipping tasks including packing, receiving, and crate building.
• Operate forklift upon certification.
• Regularly use a tape measure.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferably 1 year of industrial shop experience.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Ability to use a tape measure and perform basic math operations.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
