Job summary

Heat and Control is seeking a manufacturing supervisor for the 2:30 PM – 11 PM second shift in Galesburg, IL. The role involves supervising machining and sheet metal fabrication, ensuring quality, and maintaining production schedules aligned with objectives.

Candidate should have at least two years of supervisory experience in production or manufacturing, along with hands-on CNC machining exposure. CNC programming is a plus; laser cutting and sheet metal forming experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints is a must.
• CNC machining operations experience required.
• CNC programming skills are desired.
• Two years minimum PRODUCTION OR MANUFACTURING SUPERVISORY experience.
• Experience in Laser cutting, bending and forming sheet metal a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise machining and sheet metal fabrication related operations. Monitor employee performance and address disciplinary issues.
• Responsible for product quality, workmanship and methods applications and production schedules consistent with manufacturing objectives.
• Anticipate production problems, material shortages, malfunctions and implement procedures to offset loss of schedule interruptions.
• Diagnose tooling and equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs or replacement.
• Supervise housekeeping and be alert for hazardous conditions along with the Safety Manager.
