Job summary

Hendrickson is seeking a skilled machinist in Indiana to perform broad manufacturing tasks in a production setting. The role includes operating burning, grinding, sawing, turning, and press brake operations, plus CNC turning and milling.

Candidates should have strong measurement skills with calipers, micrometers, and go/no-go gauges, and must pass a drug screen. A high school diploma or GED is required, with reliable attendance and adherence to safety standards expected.

• Operates CNC machines to include turning and milling processes.
• Perform inspection on product utilizing Total Quality concepts.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as scheduled.
• Accurately report daily activities on work orders and other media as required.
• Conduct required quality control checks using various measurement equipment.
• Exercise safe work habits.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Mechanical aptitude with a demonstrated ability to work in a production environment preferred.
• Ability to follow operation procedures and assess problems and recommend solutions to resolve problems.
• Ability to perform quality checks using calibrated digital micrometers, various calipers and go/no go gauges to ensure product is within tolerance.
• Must be able to meet production standards and follow instructions.
• Must be able to attend work on a regular basis.
• High School diploma or GED from an accredited school required.
• Pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug free throughout the term of employment.

• Previous machining preferred, NC / CNC operations desired.
