Job summary

Crown Technical Systems in Dallas, TX is seeking a Shop Helper to support our production team in prepping, grinding, sanding, and cleaning sheet metal and steel. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will assist machine operators and welders to fabricate materials on a Monday–Friday shift, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and manufacturing experience, with emphasis on safety, PPE usage, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Minimum manufacturing/fabrication exposure.
• Must be able to follow safety rules and PPE protocols.
• Experience with shop floor cleanliness and tool handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cut material for fabrication or processing.
• Chip or grind off excess welds, slag, or spatter.
• Assist machine operators with loading/unloading items from machines.
• Assist welders with structural welds by holding materials in place.
• Move materials and tools between work areas on the production floor.
