Job summary

DBM Global in Lindon, UT is seeking an entry-level Production Helper to assist fabrication of structural metal products for commercial building, bridge and industrial projects.

You will lift, position, load, clean, and transport stock and tools, support welding crews, and ensure safety rules and PPE are followed. A high school diploma or GED and basic experience are acceptable, with growth opportunities within our team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, and/or 12 months experience.
• Ability to read safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Willingness to learn welding support tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lifts, positions, and removes workpieces from machines to assist in fitting and welding.
• Loads, stacks, and transports stock, tools, dies, and work in process by hand or truck.
• Cleans and scrapes metal preparatory to fabrication, welding, painting, or shipping.
• Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
• Pass the tacking test on Flat, Horizontal, Vertical and Overhead.
• Must adhere to safety rules and PPE requirements.
