Westinghouse Electric Company is hiring a Shop Helper in Newington, NH, stationed 100% onsite. You will assist the shop team, learn multiple skillsets, and support fabrication, quality, and maintenance tasks under supervision.

Responsibilities include safe operation of equipment, reporting safety concerns, timely task completion, and upkeep of work areas. Some heavy lifting and vendor escorting are required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months or more years of Fabrication experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in shop under supervision and learn multiple skillsets.
• Ensure the safe use of equipment and materials.
• React to and report all safety concerns.
• Perform general tasks including cleaning of offices, common areas, rest rooms, kitchens.
• Provide vendor escorting.
