Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in Newington, NH is seeking a Shop Helper to assist in the shop and receive training across multiple skillsets in manufacturing, quality, and maintenance. You will report to the Fabrication Supervisor and work 100% onsite at Newington, NH.

The role emphasizes safe operation of equipment, timely task execution, and adherence to quality standards while performing general facility duties and supporting various departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 6 months or more years of Fabrication experience required

Responsibilities

• Perform basic work assigned by department supervisor or team coordinator to support all classifications.
• Ensure the safe use of equipment and materials.
• React to and report all safety concerns with ARC.
• Perform work promptly.
• Is responsible for quality of work once trained.
• Practice proper housekeeping and observe all safety procedures and complete all Atlas training.
• You will be required to do some heavy lifting (25lbs), pulling and twisting.
• Perform general tasks including cleaning of offices, common areas, rest rooms, kitchens with approved cleaners.
• Provide vender escorting.
