Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC in Newington, NH is seeking a Shop Helper to assist in the shop while receiving training on multiple skillsets within fabrication, quality and maintenance. You will report to the Fabrication Supervisor and this role is 100% onsite.

Key responsibilities include performing basic tasks assigned by the department supervisor, ensuring the safe use of equipment, reporting safety concerns, performing work promptly, supporting quality of work, maintaining housekeeping,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months or more years of Fabrication experience required.

• Ensure the safe use of equipment and materials.
• React to and report all safety concerns with ARC.
• Perform work promptly.
• Is responsible for quality of work once trained.
• Practice proper housekeeping and observe all safety procedures and complete all Atlas training.
• You will be required to do some heavy lifting (25lbs), pulling and twisting.
• Perform general tasks including cleaning of offices, common areas, rest rooms, kitchens with approved cleaners.

About the role:

You will report to the Fabrication Supervisor and be located at Newington, NH. You will support this role 100% onsite.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly pay range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $18 to $30 per hour.
