Job summary

HM EC in Pasadena, TX is seeking a Fabrication Shop QA/QC Inspector to lead quality audits and inspections in a manufacturing environment. The role requires 5+ years in QA/QC, a Certified Welding Inspector license or ANST SNT-TC-1A VT Level II, and a high school diploma.

You will review procedures, enforce QA/QC policies, and coordinate with vendors and shop staff to resolve nonconformances, while following safety guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in related QA/QC field.
• Certified Welding Inspector License or ANST SNT-TC-1A VT Level II required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of shop and/or field QA/QC experience required.
• Working knowledge of pipe, hydrotesting, NDE (PT, RT) and welding.

Responsibilities

• Directs quality audits and inspections to ensure QA/QC requirements are met.
• Address problems and resolve conflicts professionally.
• Prepare and maintain corporate QA/QC policies and procedures; review other departments for compliance.
• Participate in review meetings to resolve nonconformance; ensure timely corrections.
• Ensure vendors, suppliers and subcontractors adhere to quality standards.
• Analyze and interpret technical drawings and procedures.
• Follow company safety policies and OSHA rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
