Job summary

H+M Industrial EPC seeks a QA/QC professional to lead audits and inspections, ensuring compliance with corporate standards across projects. The role includes policy development, reviewing procedures, and enforcing quality across vendors and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in QA/QC, a CWI/ANST-TC license, and hands-on experience with pipe, hydrotesting, NDE, and welding within a heavy industry setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in related field required.
• Certified Welding Inspector License or ANST SNT-TC-1A VT Level II Required.
• Minimum 2 years of shop and/or field QA/QC experience required.
• Working knowledge in Pipe, Hydrotesting, NDE (PT, PT & RT) and Welding required.
• Strong written and oral communication skill.
• Demonstrate computer literacy and ability to learn company software.
• Must present information clearly to management, clients and shop staff.

Responsibilities

• Directs quality audits and inspections to insure all quality control requirements are implemented and maintained.

• Prepares and maintains corporate QA/QC policies and procedures; reviews procedures for compliance with corporate expectations.
• Participates in review meetings to resolve nonconformance and follows up on corrections.
• Ensures third-party vendors, suppliers and sub-contractors adhere to quality standards on all projects.
• Analyze and interpret technical drawings and procedures.
• Follow company policies including Safety Manual and OSHA rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Prepares and maintains corporate QA/QC policies and procedures. Reviews and analyzes other department's procedures for compliance with corporate expectations.
• Participates in review meetings to resolve areas of nonconformance. Follows-up to insure corrections are implemented timely and effectively.
• Ensures that third-party vendors, suppliers and sub-contractors adhere to company quality standards and requirements on all projects.
• Analyze and interpret technical drawings and procedures
• Work within company policy as outlined in the H+M Employee Handbook as well as the H+M Safety Manual and OSHA Safety rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor as needed.

Essential Skills & Qualifications
