Job summary

Dover Corporation in South Chesterfield, VA, is seeking a Supervisor, Production – Fabrication for the 3rd shift to lead hourly production teams and ensure safety, on-time delivery, and quality standards. You will coach associates, manage resources, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating with multiple departments.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED plus minimum 3 years of leadership and 5 years in manufacturing, with a willingness to work extended hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years’ leadership experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to team leaders and hourly production staff; ensure safety and accountability.
• Develop, implement, and audit daily standard work.
• Drive continuous improvement via root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain production schedule meeting quality and productivity targets.
• Maintain inventory control for raw materials.
• Partner with other departments to meet targets safely and on time.
• Respond to operational issues impacting customer expectations and cycle times.
• Enforce company policies and grow team morale.
• Initiate requisitions, interview, and build a skills matrix for training.
• Capture and analyze data to understand productivity drivers.
