Job summary

Commercial Metals Company (CMC) is seeking candidates to join its production and fabrication teams. The role involves maintaining a clean work area, safely operating production equipment, and actively participating in safety programs.

Ideal applicants have at least 1 year of experience in recycling or manufacturing, can lift up to 50 lbs, and are capable of working in various weather conditions. Training and advancement opportunities are provided as part of a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in all weather conditions.
• Adept at teamwork in a fast-paced environment with multitasking, attention to detail and organization.
• Minimum 1 year experience in recycling/manufacturing preferred.
• Previous experience operating forklift, skid steer, loader or similar equipment.
• Prior knowledge of metal identification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows safety regulations.
• Operates production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and upholds the CMC Safety Culture.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
