Job summary

Nassal Fabrication Services Inc. in Orlando, FL is seeking a Production Student for the Nassal office. This internship supports fabrication, scheduling, and documentation tasks during May to August while you pursue an engineering or construction management degree.

You will review work orders, assist with cost projections, and maintain schedules using standard software. Valid US work authorization and a driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication, as well as organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literate with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other construction software.
• Basic knowledge of fabrication drawings, HSE, quality, and standards.
• Basic understanding of project schedules and critical path.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Able to perform takeoffs of materials, labor, and equipment.
• Authorized to work in the US; 18+ with valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Reviews work orders and shop drawings to ensure necessary information is provided for fabrication.
• Updates deliverables list in Inventory Management software and provides tags to foremen.
• Assists with cost projections during production reviews for the scope of work.
• Performs daily tracking of project schedules.
• Determines trackable production units for the scope of work.
• Maintains documentation per specs and saves documents in Work Order folders.
• Contributes to profitability culture and supports the team.
• Other duties as required.
