Job summary

Nassal Fabrication Services Inc. in Orlando, FL is seeking a Design Student intern to support the Nassal/nFusion design team and the PCL family.

You will help develop designs and refine technical shop drawings while learning about BIM coordination and construction processes. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Design/Architecture/Engineering/Construction degree, with strong communication and a willingness to learn, and are authorized to work in the US.

Qualifications

Pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Design, Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or related discipline.
Exceptional written and verbal communication with the ability to influence and present ideas.
Some knowledge of the construction process and components at each stage.
Experience with AutoCAD 2D/3D, Rhino, Revit or similar software.
Intermediate MS Office skills and BIM coordination familiarity.

Responsibilities

Assists the design team in developing designs by refining complex technical shop drawings.
Attends team meetings to coordinate design requirements, options, and ideas.
Assists with revising designs to comply with modified specifications and as‑built drawings.
Communicates effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Develops and maintains customer‑focused relationships with stakeholders.
Other duties as assigned.
